LUBOFOS ® FOR POTATOES

EU FERTILISING PRODUCT ● GRANULATED ● COMPLEX MACRONUTRIENT FERTILISER
NPK (Ca, Mg, S) 3.5-7-25 (14-2-20)

  • particularly recommended for potatoes and vegetables
  • for use especially on soils low in potassium, with an average phosphorus content, and on soils without organic fertilisation
  • significantly improves the quality of tubers and starch content thanks to the content of potassium in the sulphate form
  • improves plant resistance to stress factors
  • a complete fertiliser containing a number of macronutrients with reduced chlorine content
  • the micronutrients in the fertiliser improve the absorption of other nutrients

Granulation and bulk density

Prills

Fraction size 2.0 to 6.3 mm – 95%

Bulk density: 0.9 to 1.0 kg/dcm³

Properties

3,5% total nitrogen (N)
3,5% ammoniacal nitrogen (N)
7% total phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅)
4% phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅) soluble in formic acid
25% potassium oxide (K₂O) soluble in water
14% total calcium oxide (CaO)
approx.2% calcium oxide (CaO) soluble in water
2% total magnesium oxide (MgO)
20% sulphur trioxide (SO₃) soluble in water

Usage

The highest efficiency is achieved by applying the fertiliser in spring before potato sowing and mixing it with the soil to a depth of 10–20 cm during tillage. Use doses depending on the abundance of available potassium, expected yield and organic fertilisation used.

Dosage [kg/ha]

– yield 25 t/ha

ORGANIC FERTILIZATION CONTENT OF AVAILABLE PHOSPHORUS AND POTASSIUM IN THE SOIL*
low medium high
with manure 500 350 200
without manure 800 600 400

* If phosphorus and potassium levels in the soil allow its qualification to the same classes, the doses indicated above should be increased by 15-20%.
